Have you been experiencing a long period of chronic stress + strain at work, a challenging project, an increased workload/responsibility or work travel and simply not taking time for yourself, not listening to your body when you need to rest? Increased responsibility and stress plus poor self care can result in lack of energy- both physically + mentally… living on autopilot and lacking interest in life because you feel so exhausted.
Maybe it’s circumstantial or perhaps you’ve experienced this for years……waking up everyday knowing you’re exhausted but not doing anything differently to change it.
If you feel completely drained and you’re dragging yourself along trying to get things done, it’s time to listen to your body and make some shifts towards restoring your energy. Listening to your inner guidance and recognizing the needs of your body can help to restore your strength and vitality.
What is Inner Guidance?
Inner guidance is a deep knowing or gut feeling that helps keep you on track and in alignment with what is best for your body, mind and spirit.
It’s something we all have, but we need to listen in order to benefit from it. Many people go through their lives ignoring this innate ability, ignoring this sense of knowing what to do that helps us be happy, healthy and vibrant. Having self awareness about your thoughts, emotions and actions helps you be in alignment with your highest potential.
There is also a lot of pressure and conditioning from the outside world to do and be certain ways in order to feel love, acceptance and approval which also may be a contributing factor to the mental and physical exhaustion that you’re experiencing. Uncovering belief systems about how you function in your day to day could be helpful in restoring your energy and reducing the load that contributes to the mental and physical exhaustion you’re experiencing. Looking at your situation from an objective point of view can help you uncover limiting beliefs. Write down what comes up.
