Struggling just thinking about the day’s work ahead can really be a bummer! We’ve all felt it at some point or another… waking up wishing you had one more day to the weekend… just not excited about going to work! But sometimes it can become a state of mind that lasts longer than one day. A mental fatigue where your work routine becomes stale and monotonous and the job you once felt excited and grateful for becomes repetitive and boring. You start waking up with that Monday morning feeling everyday.
When you’re performing the same tasks, seeing the same people, and going to the same places, you can start to lack motivation, enthusiasm and productivity. These uninspired feelings can create negativity, stress, anxiety and burnout, impacting your emotional wellbeing.
It’s important to get to the root of why you’re feeling this way. Are you lacking a sense of variety with your job or on your days off? Maybe both?
If you’ve fallen into a rut, taking a different approach at work by changing things up in your office and having more play and fun on the weekends might be all you need to shake things up. It’s important to get creative and solve this issue so you can shift into a new mindset and feel enthusiastic about your job, day and life. Restoring vitality, freshness and playfulness can help give you the ability to face the day ahead with strength and excitement.
