Are you pushing yourself beyond your limits and constantly in super-drive? Overworking and chronic stress are the main culprits leading to burnout. Trying to navigate an intense workload, chaotic work environments, feeling overwhelmed by too many things going on at one time and periods of prolonged levels of pressure and emotional stress will have you burning out. Add the demands of family, relationships and personal life to the mix and it makes sense why you might feel fried and on the verge of collapsing, if you haven’t already!
Creating a more balanced lifestyle is essential to your health and wellbeing. You are a human being, not a machine!
The body and mind can only take on so much before becoming depleted and exhausted, leading to anxiety, stress, illness and dis-ease. Your body is constantly giving you signs and signals that help you know how to take care of yourself. Pay attention to these signs and signals… Don’t ignore them! Keep in mind that your health and wellbeing is more important than anything and you can’t accomplish the jobs/tasks/projects/visions that you have on the horizon if your health is compromised.
